Welcome to the Lawrence Street Chapel Children's Ministry Blog
Whether you are new to our fellowship or have been in attendance for years, welcome in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! We hope that you will find this site informational, uplifting and encouraging.
Our vision at Lawrence Street is to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (1 Peter 3:18). This is no different when it comes to our children's ministry. With a devoted group of servants, our class rooms are filled with teachers who are praying, worshiping, teaching and loving on each child. Our goal is to help the children to see and know God as a friend and Savior.
We offer classes on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 and on Sunday Mornings from 10-11:30. Child care is offered for our children 0-2 and classes are offered for children aged 3 to 5th grade.
We encourage children to bring their Bibles to church every service and to use them. We teach the kids that God's word is true and living. We use the Bibles in class even with our non-readers. During class we also work on memorizing the books of the Bible and scripture memory by using songs, games and visual recognition.
Our classes at Lawrence Street Chapel are a safe, loving and Christ centered place, with teachers ready to come along side you, to encourage and grow your child's relationship with Jesus. We hope to see you all soon.
